Application Process
Rolling admissions for CGSI 2026 will continue until courses are at capacity. Applicants will be notified of admissions decisions by email roughly every two weeks starting February 1. If you are accepted, you will receive instructions on how to register. See below for deadlines and registration fees.
Graduate students from low-income countries or who cannot pay the registration fee due to financial hardship may be eligible for a fee waiver; please send an email to uclacgsi@gmail.com for more information.

Participant Accommodations
Participants who do not live in LA may request double occupancy rooms for the dates of their participation for an additional fee. Short program participants are offered rooms with private bathrooms in the UCLA residence halls for six nights, Sunday through Saturday. Participants of the long program may choose to stay in a frat house near campus (one bathrooms for two rooms). Please note that these are modest accommodations designed for undergraduates; you will not have access to a kitchen. If you want the accommodations we offer, you will select it and pay for it when you register. If you choose to find your own lodging, or if we run out of space before you register, please find your own accommodations near campus. You will find suggestions on our FAQ page.
