Participants Accommodation

In partnership with Phi Kappa Psi, GSI offers a subsidized housing option at a modest price to all applicants accepted to the Long Program. The house is newly-remodeled, with indoor and outdoor common areas, game rooms, a dining area, and study rooms. It is a communal environment where participants can get to know each other well and self-organize social activities, as well as work. The rooms are dormitory style, dual occupancy, with shared bathrooms on each floor. There is a limited supply of single occupancy rooms available for an additional fee, upon request. The house is adjacent to campus, and a 5-minute walk to the CGSI venue.
Students who register for the first short course (one week) will be offered a room in De Neve Plaza, a UCLA residence hall, at a modest price. Rooms are double occupancy with a private bathroom.  Breakfast is included.  A limited number of single occupancy rooms are available for an additional fee.
