The 2017 Computational Genomics Summer Institute Short Course will be held in the California Room at the UCLA Faculty Center.

The Faculty Center is situated in the heart of the UCLA campus, a short walk away from Mathematical Sciences, Boyer Hall, and IPAM. An attractive and comfortable private club that opened in 1959, the UCLA Faculty Center offers many well furnished meeting rooms, lounges, patios, and dining facilities are available for a wide range of social and professional activities.

Long Course

The 2017 Computational Genomics Summer Institute Long Course will be held in the First Floor Conference Room in the Gonda Building.


The Gonda (Goldschmied) Neuroscience and Genetics Research Center, is a state-of-the-art facility that helps researchers explore the depths of science. The research center is home to UCLA’s Department of Human Genetics and the Brain Research Insititute, incorporating an array of important research technology, innovative laboratory design, and an atmosphere that fosters collegial and professional interactions among scientists.

Parking & Transit Information

There are a number of ways to access the UCLA campus from all over Los Angeles. Parking can be purchased on campus with cash or credit card. All-day parking feed range from US$6-12. Bus fare must be purchased with exact amount of cash (drivers cannot provide change) or in advance using cash or credit card with a Transit Access Pass. Single-ride bus fares range from US$1.00-2.50.
